Codie Sanchez divides people into fixers and freeloaders. Fixers patch holes in a leaky boat regardless of who caused them; freeloaders wait for someone else to handle it. Every unsolved problem is profit waiting for someone willing to fix it.

You know what I realized? There's like one rule that'll tell you if you're going to be successful or not, and it's: are you one of these two types of people? First, there are fixers. I want you to picture a leaky boat like this with holes everywhere. The fixer doesn't care whose fault it is. They grab the putty, they start bailing. Problem's annoying. Actually, they probably never caused it, but they fix it anyway. And then there are freeloaders. The freeloader is standing in the boat the whole time going, "That's not my job. Somebody else will handle it. I don't really know what to do about that." And here's what those type of people don't realize: if someone else is always fixing your problems, someone else is always collecting profit from them. Every time you find a problem in business, that's where the profit is. Every time something goes wrong, that's where the money is hiding. So instead of that sinking feeling when a big problem shows up, I've trained myself to think money, money, money. And that's a fixer's mindset. And if you're watching this, you likely already have it, but you know the people that don't.

He wouldn't give you the dream if he didn't believe you had what it takes. You have what it takes.
