The $15 story that shook my entire life. My wife was driving down the road one day with our two daughters in the car. They were quite young at the time. And we were going through some serious stress in our business. And guess what? My daughter said to my wife, Mom, Mom, let's go to McDonald's. And she said to them that day, listen, we can go there and spend $15 and have a hamburger or whatever it was they're going to have. I mean, I don't believe in that stuff right now. But at the same time, she then said to them, or we can go and take that $15, buy groceries and eat for part of the week. That shook my world. I want you to think about this for yourself too. In your world is, are things not going the way you want? Where do you have some maybe cash flow challenges, maybe in your business right now, and you're like, I just don't know how to get out of this. That $15 shook my world, but it made me think differently. It made me really think about what do I do with my money? How do I spend my money? It actually was a very good learning lesson for our daughters as well at the time. And I want you to think about this for yourself. Sometimes things do get tough. Sometimes we do go through some real serious cash flow challenges in our businesses. It's how we get through them that's really important. And the same time, sometimes there's a lesson not just for you, but for your children and your family when you go through these challenges to really help them see things quite differently.
