Watching my father slowly deteriorate with dementia taught me a lot about time that I can never forget. I watched my dad in 2023, actually a little bit before that, maybe 2022, go downhill slowly but surely with dementia. And there's certain things that really stood out for me during that time of you've got to make the time for people. You're probably watching this video and you're like, I'm too busy to watch this video. I'm too busy to do certain things. The hardest thing I've seen so many people say, I'm too busy. And then most of the time you're too late. And then I want you to really implore the upon you to really think about today is what can you do differently? Go take the time with those special people in your life, because I can tell you that time can disappear like this. And all of a sudden you're like, I wish I had, I should have, I could have. And you have a bunch of regrets. My dad taught me that as he went through this dementia. It was something that I was like, oh, I really don't want to see him go through this. But I watched him go through it slowly but surely. He deteriorated. And there were parts of me going, I wish I'd done more with him. I wish I'd traveled more with him. I wish I'd taken him to different places. To spend special times with him in other different ways. My question to you today, what are you putting off right now? What are you saying, I will get to eventually? Or you just keep on saying to your family, I'm too busy, I'm too busy, and you never get around to doing it. Because guess what? You might be too late, and I don't want to be the case for you. Take the time now, write down what are the things you need to do within the next month, and go and do them before it's too late.
