Most entrepreneurs are out there marketing, but they don't understand the difference between branding and marketing, and that's costing them an absolute fortune. Because when you understand the difference between the two, branding is the architect, marketing is the trades. If you don't know what your brand is, how do the trades know what to build and what to do for you? It really is important for your business. I want you to really start to think about this. If you are out building your business every single day and you don't know what makes you me only, what what makes you unique and what makes you stand out in the marketplace. And I'm not talking about pricing, I'm not talking about customer service because those are clichéd or what we call platitudes, a meaningless trite statement said as if it were significant and original and true. Like, we give the best service, we give the best price. You never want to be that. You want to be the one that stands out in your marketplace by knowing what your brand is. Once you know what makes you me only or unique in your marketplace, then you can go out and market and the trades can go do what they need to do to build the actual house or whatever that might be built. But if you are out there marketing right now, but you don't know what makes you stand out, then you're talking really to nobody. First, figure out your brand. First, figure out what makes you stand out as a company compared to all your competitors. Once you know that, then go do marketing. Once you get that right, you will make a fortune in your business. But until then, you will keep on burning money and not getting where you want to go to.
