Stephan worked with coach Courtney Addy to leave a business he'd built and pursue bigger goals. He now starts days with intentional walks, trusts his intuition on which opportunities to take, and feels more fulfilled as a CEO, husband, and soon-to-be father.
Chapters
I was building a business for a couple years. She helped me realize it was time for me to move on, encouraged me leaning into the dreams of the big impact I wanted to have. It was pretty empowering and uplifting, to be honest. I think a lot of us have these things where like, hey, this is what I actually want to do. And she really helped to say, let's go do those things. You're in a position to go do them and here's how you can do them and be successful and true to yourself. I would say it really unlocked a whole new chapter for me that was 2 years ago, every— everything's changed. I treat life really differently now because of the work Courtney and I did together and continue to do. I guess to steal her word for it, right? It feels much more generative. Each day feels like I'm waking up and working on the things that I picked from a beautiful level of being in touch with what's important. I wake up each day, go for a lovely walk out on the water. Courtney helped teach me, hey, those walks and the way that your energy works, you really have to embrace that. And carve out the time for it. I say yes to some things, but I say no to a lot of opportunities based on inner feeling that I feel Courtney's really helped me to sharpen and listen to. I think she really helped me find my place in the world and feel good about where I'm at. There's a, there's a, an at peace with my intuition and the work that I'm doing and my roles as a CEO, as an executive committee chair, as a husband, and eventually as a father. So there's a lot more joy and fulfillment that comes from day-to-day life. Thanks to Courtney.
