A short YouTube video (uploaded by Caitlin Sarian) in which Caitlin — a cybersecurity and data protection expert — warns viewers about catfishing on dating apps and demonstrates using the face-search site PimEyes to check profile photos. The clip gives step-by-step spoken instructions to upload clear face photos, lets the site scan the web for matches, and notes that found images link back to their source websites. The video repeatedly encourages viewers to like and share.

If you're on a dating app and you haven't used this website to make sure that you're not getting catfished, you're doing it wrong. Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a cybersecurity and data protection expert. I want to help you stay safe while using dating apps. Let's go.
Go to pim eyes.com and upload the photos of your potential date. Make sure there are clear shots of their face.
Be sure to like this and share this with a friend who uses dating apps.
Once the photos are uploaded, the website will scan the Internet for all images of that face. You can even click on a specific image and it will take you to the website it was found on.
Be sure to share this with a friend who uses a dating app.
