If you don't want to end up like Hailey Buber getting blasted for her old online activity, here's what you got to do. Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a cybersecurity and data protection expert and I want to help you make sure your data is deleted offline. Let's go so deleting data online can be a complicated process. It really depends on the type of data, the platform and the services you use online. However, here are some general tips to help you delete your data offline. The first, identify platforms and services you use to make sure you understand where your data is stored. I would first, start by making a list of all the platforms, email, social medias, any cloud storage and start writing them all down. Second, review that platform or services privacy policy to understand what actually happens when you do delete your data. 3. Delete your account. Many platforms allow you to do this. There's a little step by step process and I have an entire series on how you can delete your data from the data brokers online. But there's a lot of other options as well. I'm running out of time so I'm going to do another video, so make sure you hit that subscribe button. Follow along and share this with a friend.
