Instagram hacked and you have literally no idea what to do. Hi, I'm Kaylin, I'm the cyber security and data protection expert and I want to help you get your hijacked Instagram back fast. Let's go. First things first. Go and pretend to log in and then press forgot password. Then enter your email or phone number that's associated with the account. Then you should have at least gotten a code. You enter that six digit code and press submit. Now here's where it gets tricky. The hacker has actually set up two factor authentication, which means that the second way of authenticating you is actually going to go to his or her email. So in order to get around that, you're going to scroll down to the bottom and in the blue it says, try another way. Click that and then from there say get support. Then another page of options comes up and guess what? You're going to press. You guessed it, press my account was hacked. Then from there it's going to ask you if you have photos of yourself on this account. I know it sounds a little weird, but a lot of people have just content accounts without their picture. So make sure you say yes, you have photos of yourself. And then technology is crazy. You are going to do a face scan on the Instagram app and AI is going to compare your face scan to your photos on your page. Then Instagram says it will take 24 hours to get back to you. And usually you get an email confirming that you are trying to get in. And then I've been told it usually takes like an hour to two hours, but it can be up to 24 hours. And then here's the hoping that you get your Instagram back.
