I am a woman who doesn't like to feel boxed in. How? Let me explain. Hi, my name is Kate, your cybersecurity girl and I'm an ex mechanical engineer who now works in cybersecurity. Yes, I'm in a male dominated industry, but let's break the stigmas and celebrate that women are fearless and limitless. In this day and age, we don't need to box ourselves into one category. I am a woman who has a 9 to 5 job in cyber. I'm also a content creator and influencer, educating my audience. As an Armenian American woman, I stress the importance of data and privacy and feeling empowered as a minority in the tech industry. I am a woman who's also into fashion and modeling. Despite only being 5 4, I didn't let that limit my ability to model and I just finished walking in New York Fashion Week. Outside of modeling, I'm constantly trying to break the stereotype that women can't be in tech. What a woman means to me is strength, courage and resilience. We are powerful and capable leaders and innovators. Let's continue inspiring each other and showing the world what women can do. Comment below with how you're breaking boundaries and stereotypes.
