This might be the worst iPhone bug in history because apparently when you deleted a photo in the past on your iPhone, it might not actually have gotten deleted. We're seeing multiple reports now that after People update to iOS 17.5, even years old photos, specifically the type of photos you'd probably never want anyone to see, are just showing back up in your recents. And as of right now, no one knows why this is happening, but somehow it's actually worse than this because one user specifically says that they sold their old Apple product to a friend and that friend today saw the deleted photos from the previous owner just pop up in their photos. Without saying too much, let's say that that person's friend woke up to seeing some images that they probably did not ever intend to see of their friend. I don't know, this just seems like really bad. There's been iPhone battery scandals in the past. There's been other issues, but Apple always talks about privacy and we don't know how widespread this is yet. I'm cur to hear your thoughts. Did this happen to you? Have you seen.
