Be careful with who you give your phone number to, because it actually can be used to track your digital footprint. Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a cybersecurity and data protection expert, and today I want to help you protect yourself online. Let's go. To start, your digital footprint is literally just the trail that you leave anytime you go online. This includes data like your social media posts, emails, browsing data, cookies, etc. Even things that you look at when you're on incognito mode, which cybercriminals can collect stories, store, and even analyze. Now, someone having access to this data is super scary because they literally can know everything about you. And if they have your phone number, all they have to do is load it into a program called Cali and they can get even more data on you. And Kali is super easy to download. Anyone can download it, including government, your friends, family, and even your enemies. It is so easy, and I would even show you, but I don't want to let hackers know how easy it is. All they have to do is type in one command into the software with your phone number and it'll show your digital footprint, your reputational footprint, temporary number member providers you have. Please.
