Let apps run in the background (Background apps setting under Privacy).

Make your slow computer run faster in five seconds. Let's go.
First, you're going to click on the Windows button and then click on Settings. Then you're going to go down and scroll down and find privacy. Click that. From there, scroll all the way down on the side to background apps. Click that, then turn off. Let apps run in the background.
