So what is data privacy? This is Cybersecurity 101. Hi, I'm Caitlin. I'm a cyber security and data protection expert and I want to help you understand all the areas of cybersecurity and get in. Let's go. Data Privacy Team is a team that's responsible for making sure that the company is abiding by global data privacy laws. Some of these laws include ccpa, which is California, gdpr, which is in Europe, lgpd, which is in Brazil and just an FYI, these privacy laws are making sure that us as consumers have the rights to our own data. But because of that it gets very complicated for businesses to abide by these privacy laws and that's why we have a data Privacy Team. Some skills is understanding legal and privacy regulations, a law degree potentially and great communication potential helpful certifications to be in data privacy are the cipp, cipt, CIPM, or basically any IAPP certification.
