We are on the verge of something significantly dangerous. A software sharing platform called GitHub had a creator release a program that allows for deep fake filters on live video. I remember watching Corridor Crew make a video about deepfakes in AI five years ago and that needed to be done in post production. This is on live video, zoom, facetime and so forth. This is something to be concerned about because this doesn't help or benefit any anyone, anyone for no reason other than to steal, to hack or to be a general Take.
This as your sign to have a family safe word. It is so important if this is that easily accessible that scammers can use this. Now all they have to do is call a loved one and clone yourself and pretend that they're you and say that you got kidnapped. Then you're gonna have to get money. This can be used for extortion and so many other things. So definitely have a family safe word. If you want to see more tips like this, follow along and be sure to share this with all your family, friends and loved ones because this is super important.
