Il principio di ATTENZIONE SELETTIVA - MINI CORSO di DANIELE PENNA

Daniele Penna explains the cognitive principle of selective attention (anchored to Miller’s 7±2 working-capacity idea) and shows how beliefs, needs and external conditioning determine what our limited attention picks up. He argues modern systems deliberately flood our finite attention "slots" (notifications, media, social pressures) to distract us from noticing structural problems and to prevent independent thought. Penna gives concrete metaphors (searching for a cent in a haystack vs a pot of gold under a rainbow), warns that "flow" people follow is usually conditioned by their attention, and prescribes keeping one or two attention slots free to observe, reason and find solutions ("Le soluzioni sono nella direzione opposta a dove guardate normalmente"). He also stresses that perceived reality is subjective (multiple representations) and connects human behavior to animal/brain-level processes (reptilian vs prefrontal).
