Danielle Ralston was diagnosed with ADHD ten years ago and discovered her children have it too. She wishes she'd known earlier, during her own childhood and theirs, so she could have gotten help sooner. Early awareness and community support could have changed everything for her family.

My kids have ADHD too. It's not like it's just stopped here. The buck didn't stop at mama. No. It's continuing on. And if I would've had a community I could have gone into or known Danielle 10 years ago and been able to say, I am really struggling with my child, then I might've had someone be able to say, okay, you're struggling with your child, but what are you struggling with? Let's work with you because we see the ADHD with you too. Because I didn't even realize. Oh, it's been probably 10 years now that I've known I've been diagnosed, but still, if I would have known that as a kid, as a teenager, as a young adult and a young mama, how much could we have done different?
