So why do you need an admin day, even if you aren't a business owner? Because we all have admin tasks that we have to get done. Making those doctor's appointments, paying a toll by email or online, getting that new thing ordered from Amazon that you were supposed to, returning boxes to Amazon that you were supposed to do it, making the doctor's appointments, all of those things. We all have those things to do. If you have a full-time job, your admin day probably isn't a full day. Those of us that are entrepreneurs need almost an entire full day to get all of our admin tasks Because we have to do our bookkeeping and we have to send invoices and we have to check in with contacts and we have to network and we have to— we have all of these things that we have to do. And we all know that and it feels overwhelming. So how do you make admin day? Because you have to have one. We all need them. So maybe you only need— if you have a full-time job, maybe you only need 2 hours once or twice a week, or maybe you just need an hour on a Saturday morning to do all of the things. Everybody's different in what you need for admin time. Again, as a busy entrepreneur, I need a whole entire day. Fridays are my admin day. Talk to others that are doing the same kind of things. We have body doubling at night for those that have day jobs. We have body doubling on the weekends for those of us that need to clean up our clutter and deal with our chaos. We have body doubling all day long during the normal work week. It is possible to get things done with others, not feel judged, not feel like somebody's cracking a whip and not being told what you have to do. You set your parameters of what you want to get done and ask for the support. It's what body doubling is there.
