Are you ADHD? Chances are, if you are, you struggle with executive function. We hear and talk about executive dysfunction all the time, but what is executive function? Executive function is the mental processes that control time management, planning, organization, regulating your emotions, regulating your behaviors. And with those of us with ADHD and/or autism, this is really hard. It can create feelings of shame, frustration, and overwhelm Because we struggle to start tasks, stay focused, organize, prioritize our tasks that we do have, regulate our emotions—that RSD, all of those things—maintain routines. We'll start something and do it for a week, and then forget about it and throw it out the window. And then our working memory—you know that brain fog we always blame it on—that's our working memory. So how do we overcome this? Well, I'm going to do a whole entire series showing you how because it is possible.
