Two people discuss how to care for yourself in February after the holidays. One suggests picking up activities you skipped, like reading or visiting a museum. The other notes that hibernation looks different for everyone: some people need total solitude after overstimulation, others need connection.

I think February is a great time to ask, like, what are all the things you wanted to do during the holiday season that you were like, I'm too busy, I'm traveling that day. You're like, yeah. Yeah. Read that book. Go to that museum exhibit. Take your dog to the dog park across town. Right? Like all those things that you were feeling too busy to do. Now is the time to do them. And now is the time for grace. It is— most people are not feeling super chipper. Aggressively productive in February, especially those of us who live in climates that are colder. Like that, embrace your humanity. Winter is time for resting. There's a reason bears hibernate in the winter.
