I mean, my son is 28, so I knew, I knew I was ADHD before I knew him, but I did before I was in my teens when I knew that, but I didn't realize I was autistic until I got him diagnosed when he was 7. How much more could I have helped him earlier if I would've known? Or helped yourself earlier. Oh, really helped myself. I mean, I almost lost everything because of me not understanding myself. Having somebody who understands. And Wendy just said, one thing I figured out is if we teach kids all about loving others and overthinking and stuff, we need to remember to teach each other about loving ourselves. We do need to love ourselves. And I think that's one of the things that community has really taught me is to love and accept myself. Mm-hmm. Because again, I don't feel broken. I don't feel shame. I don't feel frustrated. I mean, we all have bad days and we feel frustration and we're overwhelmed. We're overstimulated. Right. But having a community who understands that makes me not get into those shame spirals, rejection positively quite so much with myself.
