So what does a bad executive functioning day— so what does my executive dysfunction look like? It's gonna look like I need to clean my office, and instead I have a pile of crap all over the floor, and my desk is a mess, and I didn't have the executive function to organize that when I put it away. The rest of my house looks better than this. My office is always my disaster area. But that's what executive dysfunction can look like. But it can also look like I've been procrastinating doing a thing that I needed to do, and I really— I was having a hard time getting started, and I needed somebody else to get on body doubling with me so that I could get started. And that's a real reality most days, is without interaction and engagement, I have a hard time doing things.
