Actionetics Demo - Click Funnels Training with Danny Walsh

Danny Walsh demonstrates Actionetics—the built-in ClickFunnels email autoresponder/automation—covering contacts, lists, broadcasts, SMTP integration (SendGrid), Action Funnels (autoresponder sequences), tagging, and smart lists. He explains using Actionetics to segment contacts, automate follow-ups (example: a ‘client overload’ boomerang funnel), and practical recommendations for email strategy and deliverability.

Hi guys, it's Danny Walsh and in this video we are going to take a look at actionetics, which is the built in email auto responder system that lives right inside of your ClickFunnels account. Now, if you haven't upgraded to Actionetics and Backpack, there is a price jump within ClickFunnels from $97 a month to 297amonth. Of course you can message me, contact me and I will help you get the payment package which will save you some money and unlock six months so you have enough time and that comes in at 997. So there are a couple of options but you do need the upgraded ClickFunnels account in order to use these features. So when you first load actionetics you are greeted by a video and Russell Brunson actually explains what it is, why it's been created and some of the things you can do with it. Now since that video was put online the there have been some developments and some announcements that in my opinion actually make actionetics better and stronger than ever before. And it's also my opinion that this is becoming one of the best systems that I've used for email autoresponder follow ups. And I'm not saying that because I'm clickfunnels bias. I'm saying that because it makes sense to me for my autoresponder to work with my funnels. It doesn't make sense to use a third party platform because there is a lot, you know, a loss of data transmission there, there's a loss of connectivity between these services. Whereas I want to be able to use intelligent, you know, sort of behavioral actions in my funnels and emails. So I want things to happen because somebody has triggered them or because somebody has done a certain thing. For example, if somebody buys three of my products across all of my funnels, I would like to put them on one list, for example. And that is increasingly difficult when you are using a third party sort of software to go and kind of plug into clickfunnels. Now I know that a lot of people are having good success with GetResponse, AWeber, ActiveCampaign, all of the other services. And there's nothing wrong with that. What I'm saying is from my experience of using a few of those services and actually moving a proportion of the business into clickfunnels, I've realized how powerful actionetics is. Now I still have a getresponse and I still have an airweber which is kind of being wound down a Lot of that has been put into Clickfunnels. Now the Getresponse still remains active because I do affiliate promotions through websites that will only integrate into GetResponse. So I've kept that going anyway. That's what, $30 a month or something for a massive amount of contacts in there. Eventually I will move all of my contacts into actionetics. So actionetics has got four main areas and if we kind of dive into these and have a look. Now what I don't want to do is kind of disclose too much contact information. So it's important that I kind of skip through some of the stuff that's got personal details on it because we don't want, you know, my customers emails being leaked all over the world. And I'll make sure that this video is kind of edited accordingly. But you should be able to get the, you know, the message and the idea and think how you can use this in your business. So watch the video when you first open actionetics and it's very important that you realize the action funnels, the email follow ups to some degree are more important than the landing page, sales page, order form, etc, etc, because it's those emails that will keep people coming back to your business. And I've got some theories on this, I've got some things that I've tested on this and I've got some experience on this that I want to share with you. So watch the video and understand the power of this in your mind. And once you understand the power, you know, you don't have to be able to do it all. But if you understand it, at least you can get somebody to do it with, you know, the caveat that you know exactly what the hell's going on in your account. So Action Etics, very powerful, it sends emails, it sort of handles your contacts who opt in and buy things and sign up. And it's got some really awesome new features that have literally just landed, just been announced that I believe will take your marketing to the next level. So let's have a look inside actionetics and see what you get. So the first thing you're going to see is you're going to get contact profiles and this is a list of all of your contacts and you can import people and you can download people and there's options to filter by different things or full name, Action Score, different things like that. You can put people in alphabetical order, you can search over time frames and periods of time. So by changing the filter you can obviously see you Know, in so many days, so many contacts, like I said, this is, you know, becoming the mainstay of my marketing now. So everything will eventually be in Actionetics. But being able to move that from aweber, move that from GetResponse and wherever else you've put your contacts over the years, that may take you some time because it's quite delicate job now for a client, we've just recently moved a list of about 130,000 people. But there are steps that you need to take, in my view, to make sure that you're not uploading people who may have unsubscribed and different things. But when people opt in, when you upload people, they get added to a contact list. So in the last seven days, 96 people have subscribed to the funnels. I'm running through Action Etics. That's what the stats are telling me. Right? Awesome stuff. So those people subscribing needed to go somewhere, they needed to be put into a list. So you've got your contacts, let's check out the lists and when we click list you will see that there are a bunch of lists that do a bunch of things. Now I posted in the group the other day that I made a funnel that had been lying around on the dashboard for a long time and I wanted to get it out. So what I did is I put some quick videos together and I shared it on my Facebook wall. And at this point now, without really doing anything, 92 people have opted in and joined that list. 25 yesterday, four today. And it's like 10 o' clock in the morning. Seven have unsubscribed, which is, which is good because clearly they were not right for the, the thing. A couple of people have purchased it. It's $197 product. Right. But I'm going to show you what I've done with Actionetics to kind of push this purchase. So it's a little interesting concept I'm kind of testing and playing with at the moment. I'll show you the funnel, I'll show you the notion, everything, what I'm doing and how this kind of connects together. So think about Actionetics as being able to put people in, in different lists. And if you think of these lists as boxes of people, so you get these little cartons and you fill them with people and then you write on that carton what's in there. So this is client overload, opt ins. Yeah, these are the people who've opted in. But if somebody buys and they purchase the thing for $197. I move them off the opt in list and add them to the purchaser list. Now, if somebody's even more generous and buys the one time offer notwithstanding, it's the middle of December, they would then get moved from that list and added to this list. And the way that I work this is. And I actually made a bit of a mistake. And I'll show you some of the mistakes that you can make with actionetics, which hopefully will save you bacon. What I've done is I've given people the option to join a membership site to claim the free lead magnet, which was a downloadable script. And when you see the funnel, in a minute, you'll understand the method. In my madness, right, I didn't connect actionetics fast enough to the member site. So I know there's actually more members than what is actually shown on my list. So I'm going to have to go through and manually build a list of people who've joined the site. But fortunately, just as I was sat there thinking that, Russell Brunson appeared live, as if by magic on Facebook and said, danny, we've introduced the new features that you wanted. And he didn't address me personally, he addressed the nation. But there are some new, new, new features that literally landed last night that will allow you to do some really cool stuff. So you can import contacts and you can put them in lists. That is as far as the lists go until I show you this really cool thing in a minute. Right? So obviously when you've built up a list, you want to email these people. It's not overly difficult. This is not, you know, some strange concept that's never been heard about in the marketing community ever before. You get people to opt in, you put them in a list. There's no point putting every single person in one big list. Because some people might like wine, some people might like cheese, some people might like fast cars, some people might like, you know, whatever you're selling across all of your different businesses. You need to segment these people fishing. You know, I'm a fisherman. I don't want to mix carp fishermen with pike fishermen. So I would have a carp fisherman list and a pike fisherman list and a roach fisherman and a tench fisherman and all these different types of fish. Because there's no point selling carp fishing rods to somebody who fishes for little, little roach. The methods are totally different. And the same applies in your marketing. If you give away things for free. Yeah, put those people on one list. When people Then buy as part of your funnel, move them off the free list and segment them. So you know that you're building a list of people who've purchased because they will purchase again. So just like your funnel, and I need to correct that there actually, because this is an integral part of your funnel. Just like the pages of your funnel are designed to move people through, for example, you start off free, then you've got a little trip wire, then you've got a slightly more expensive one time offer than a more expensive one time offer. And gradually you build up lists of people who are more and more interested. If somebody comes in and they buy the script and then they buy the RTO and then they join the member site. When I get them on the call, which is the thing I'm selling here, an actual conversation with me when I get them on that call, I know exactly what kind of person that is from their behavior. Is that not power in your business that you can segment your lists, right? And therefore you can email them things that are more relevant to them and what they are more likely to buy, right? So we can add contacts and we can put them in lists and we can have as many lists as we like to put people in different categories, different cartons and we write on the carton, opt ins, buyers, whatever. It is dead simple. And if we look at a list and I look at one that's not actually got anybody in it, just so you know, this is what it looks like. We've not sold any OTO's yet. But I only put the funnel live the other day and I've not really done a great deal with it because I'm. It's coming up to Christmas at this point, very busy, we've got some major launches and big client projects we're working on and whatnot. And like I said in my little status in the group, I finally launched a funnel for me, right? So when this list starts to fill up and you know it's converting at I think 50% so on the front end and then people will start going through. I'll show you the funnel in a minute, these lists start to fill up. You can put people directly into the list or it will fill up automatically as they join your sites or are moved in between lists. And I'll show you what I mean in a minute. So it's really simple. You get a list of contacts down here who are in the list and that is it to a point, right? So you get contacts and you put them in lists. Then you need to email These people right here are some emails that I've sent and some people have unsubscribed and some people have clicked and some people have received it. And it shows you some numbers. You know, these are going out. These last emails have been going out really to the old ClickFunnels affiliate promotion stuff to make me some pennies for Christmas. And I think it's safe to say that I did okay on the recent ClickFunnels promotion and I will continue to promote ClickFunnels. So these emails be going out to relatively small lists. So we've been getting opens and clicks. It's worked, clearly. There's been sales. And I'm happy as I move forward, there will be more and more emails going out to bigger lists because like I say, airweber and getresponse and whatnot. I'm trying my best to get all of these people in so I can do marketing for myself and my things. Do you see what I mean? It's all subjective and it's all kind of like what you're doing in your business. You might only have 30 people in your contacts to your name. You know, I've got One list in GetResponse that's got 90 people, and when I email it, I can make a bunch of sales, but I can only email those people like software that you might find on JVZoo, for example. So, you know, so there's something came out yesterday where you make funny little cinematic images out of videos and it's like $37. That list of sort of 80, 90 people, they love that stuff. But if I sent them click funnels and said, hey, buy funnel hacks for 997, they wouldn't buy it. You've got to know your list. They drink the coffee. But you've got to know the list and you've got to be able to work the list so you don't kill it. Because the unsubscribers, you know, clearly people are subscribing. Some people are subscribing and funnel hacking me. You know, just, if you want to funnel hack me, just ask and I'll give you the funnel. I'd rather give you the funnel than have you subscribing and unsubscribing and leaving fake emails and all the rest of it. Just ask. Yeah, but you get unsubscribes at some point, you know, you will overcome that, you know, thing that goes with it. That bad feeling in your stomach, oh, my God, somebody's unsubscribed from my list, what will I do? Nobody cares. Yeah, you don't care about people who unsubscribe. It's better that they unsubscribe than, you know, keep complaining or mourning or doing something else. So let them go. Right. And there's a, a really good thing I'm going to show you in a minute that helps you to eliminate people from your list who you don't want. Right. But to recap, we add contacts, we put them in lists, and then we can send them emails. So if we come here and we send a new email from the broadcast on the left, you put your subject line in hello. And then you can start going through a list of lists. So all your lists are in there with all your subscribers and you can start to click them. So there's a few here that have just set up and they've not got a great deal on. But if you start going down and we look at some of the other ones, there's the client overload stuff. So you can see if I Want to email 99 people who are on that opt in list or I just want to email the purchases or just want to email the members or a combination of. I just have to click them. So let's just email the guys who've purchased. That's it. So Even though there's two people, they both gave $197, right? Cold. So they've seen the thing on Facebook, they've clicked it, they've liked it, they've signed up, and I've got them booked in to have a conversation on Skype. Right. And they're qualified, they've been through the funnel, the good prospects for me for my business. That's awesome. And I might just want to email these guys and say, hey guys, have you seen insert relevant thing here? And the chances are these guys will like it because I know who they are, what product they've purchased, the fact that they've purchased, and the fact that they purchased quickly as well, all of that stuff is like marketing intelligence. And we use this intelligence to be able to, you know, position ourselves and position our offers. Because like I said, if I send out an email to my vegans telling them about the latest beef burger from, you know, some burger joint, the vegans are all going to unsubscribe. Why have you sent us this? When we are vegans, we don't eat meat, but you've sent us all of these pictures of steaks, Danny. What? You know, that's offended us. Do you see the point you don't offend your list. You don't, you know, you don't disgruntle your list. You don't send out things that are not relevant to your list. So when you're doing these emails, you can make little mixtures of lists, knowing who's on your list and the sort of things that they are. But if you're not segmenting these and you're not splitting your customers up as they subscribe, as they buy, then you just end up with one big mess and you have no idea who you're emailing. Your open rates will drop off, your unsubscribe rates will go through the roof and you're actually then putting your account at risk. Now, I must make the point that Actionetics doesn't send emails. Right. You think, what are you talking about? You're looking at a page where we send emails. Yeah, right. When you press send on your email, Actionetics talks to what's called an SMTP service. And I use one called SendGrid, which is kind of highly recommended. It's very nice, it's very, very clean. So SendGrid is the service that actually sends your emails or mailgun or I think there's Amazon and there's a few other send lane, I don't know, there's a few other ones. But I chose SendGrid and the reason I chose it is because in clickfunnels support it says these are the ones that you can use. Pick one. So I pick the first one, SendGrid put it in and it works. Right now I see messages of people saying SendGrid have cancelled this free, you know, account. They don't do free anymore. Well, if you go to sendgrid.com free, it's still there. They've just hidden it a little because I think maybe ClickFunnels have swamped them with, you know, lots and lots of free accounts. I don't know. Right. People are signing up for free. They want money. Now I signed up for the 40,000 emails a month package. It's 9.99amonth. And that to me is a good investment. It means that I'm not worrying about reaching the limit of 20,000 and then whatever it is, going over the thing. So I think they've changed this slightly. Now you can send up to 40,000 in a 30 day trial. Just sign up to the system. Yeah, you're not going to get forward. If you're worried about $10, you're watching the wrong video. Look at the pricing of Sendgrid Now, I'm not an affiliate and I'm only endorsing this because it works. With Actionetics, it's easy to set up and most people will get approved. If you're selling some illegal, dodgy, stinking product and you don't give a crap about your customers, you're going to get shut down. If your email list is full of emails that are likely to bounce or fake emails or spam, you're going to get your account shut down. And when you come into a group and you say, can anybody help me? Don't come to me. Your business needs to be legitimate and real. Yeah. If you're banking on selling crap from some place that's no good and just making as much money as you can and like, your accounts will compromise, you get shut down. But if you're legitimate and you actually understand what you're doing. $9.95 to send 40,000 emails. If you cannot make $9.95 out of 40,000 emails, you're watching the wrong video. What the hell are you sending these people? Yeah. If you're more like, you know, think about it. We've moved the list 120, 130,000 people for one of my clients. Right. So if he sends one email, say there's only a hundred thousand on the list. Right. One email to that entire list is going to cost $20. But if he can't make $20 back from emailing 100,000 people, he is not a business that is not a business that's like sending out, you know, a Facebook status. Nobody cares. So the emails that you're sending have to obviously get people to click things and buy things. Yeah. If you're sat there saying, I can't afford this stuff, then clearly you don't have a business and we need to talk about that. And there's some basic training. Right. Three and a half million emails in a month for $1,399 is cheap. Right. But you don't. If you're only starting, you need 2010, 2030 up to 40 and then it jumps a bit. 40,000 emails is enough in a month to get started. Right. Get yourself set up on SendGrid and come over to the ClickFunnels account. Go into this thing, SMTP settings. I'll open it in a new tab and when you come into these settings, you'll see I've got a couple of send grids and you can actually integrate up to three. If you come along this side and open this, you will see it shows you in the lovely new ClickFunnels database knowledge base. It will have everything you need to set up your SendGrid. And if you still can't do it, reach out to me or whoever in the group, wherever and we will do it for you. It's not difficult. All of the articles, I must say in clickfunnels are all being updated. There's a new editor, there's new features, there's going to be more new features, there's going to be new payment integrations, there's all sorts of cool stuff coming. You've got to give the guys chance to catch up. Right, set up SendGrid, see what you can do, let's get it plugged in, set up the ClickFunnels side and what happens then is when you send your email from the Email broadcast tab in Actionetics, it will do everything you need in here, but SendGrid will handle the actual transmission of that email from your Actionetics to your customers. And SendGrid will manage all of the subscribes, unsubscribes, complaints, spam reports. You've got to keep these things down. And some of the things I said earlier about segmenting your list, sending relevant content, not over emailing. But look, I email some of my lists twice a day and they love it because it's relevant content. They do not unsubscribe new subscribers, people who've opted into something for the first time, especially the funnel I'm going to show you in a minute, the client overload will get a little bit overwhelmed and unsubscribe. But that to me is useful because it means they leave before you know. You've spent too much time and energy on these people. So if they're not right for your product and it repels them and naturally throws them out of the door as quick as they came, that's fine for me because not every person is right for my product. Hopefully that making some sense. Right? So Action Etics, you can have contacts and contacts can be uploaded by you. Unlike all of the other services, ClickFunnels is not going to say you have a list that another user has or we want to vet your list to some extent, they're not really bothered who you upload into your actionetics account. However, Send Grid or whoever you use will be. So if you go and send a spammy list, you know, email to a million people and off of it starts bouncing and getting complaints, SendGrid will deal with that and they will shut down your account and it's as simple as that. Yeah. So you've got to be responsible with your marketing. If you get it right, you can email twice a day. How many times have you unsubscribed from Russell Brunson's emails? You read them all because you're hooked on clickfunnels. He's done his job right. And there are lots of other marketers who will send you good stuff, you know, and you don't unsubscribe. They might email you two, three times a day. Think about that. Think about your feelings towards this kind of thing. Yeah. So important you look after your list from the technical standpoint. You go to email broadcast, you type in your subject line, you choose who you want to send it to. You can, you know, put Danny Walsh or your name or your email or whatever the hell you want in there. It will send a test email. If you're doing a save and test, you can choose whether to send now or send later to schedule it now. One thing I must say is be careful you don't accidentally send the emails until you've set up the template. And you look here, there's a bunch of templates that you can actually use. You can choose which send grid you're going to send it. One once for my phishing and one's for sort of funnels and marketing in general, Danny Walsh stuff. And I've got plans to introduce a third one as I start to do more of the Actionetics and get rid of some of the. The 30 pounds a month at Airweber and the 30 pounds a month at GetResponse and the bloody, you know, the money that's going into all these other services. Actionetics just means I can get it all under one roof. So at the bottom, I've got a bunch of little templates that are ready to go. So say I use this one and it opens up and you can use this editor just like you do in Clickfunnels, to fill it in. And there are the little mail tags. So you can do hide name and that'll put the full name. Hi, first. And there's a bunch, you know, for the first name, there's a bunch of These in the ClickFunnels help center in the knowledge base. Yeah. So you can go in there and you can get all of the tags and this stuff work. There's like tags for webinar, auto webinar, the webinar time sales page, links. There's tags for lots and lots of different things. The point is you write your email, you hit save. And close that down and it's ready to go. So you press the big green button at the top, then it gives you a warning. It says, you know, send at your own risk. Make sure you've done it properly, press it and off it goes. And your email list has been mailed. So that's manual emailing. And you can do that as many times as you like to as many lists as you like and send as many emails as you like. Some tips when you're emailing people. I try and get people to reply. So in my email I say things like, please reply and let me know you have received this. Please reply and let me know if there have been any problems. If you need me, just press reply. Because if somebody replies, that means that their email client, Outlook or Gmail or whatever they're using at their end understands. Then that person wants to enter into a conversation with my email address and will not put me in the spam. So getting a response off the customer. And of course when they reply, they say things like, danny, I've just seen this. There's not many spaces left. I appreciate your time. Can you fit me in? And you email back and say, yes, of course I can. Get down on the funnel quickly, before it runs out, sign up and I'll see you on the call. Or, you know, whatever you need to do. That person has then that they're the best people. If you can get somebody to reply and get into a conversation with that person, the funnel is simple then, isn't it? It's like they're here, they're talking to you. Do your thing, sell it, do your stuff, close the deal, do more deals. Yeah, getting people to reply very, very important. The headline is very important. You know, don't just put hello, you know, you can use all sorts of headlines and think about the ones that come into your mailbox. What do you open? What are the ones that make you think, I'm going to click that? And then you open it and you realize that you've clicked a headline because of the headline. You see what I mean? There's a lot of power in those headlines. And I kind of recommend Funnel scripts for producing headlines and different bits of copy that you can just use as an example. Take these bits and pieces and, you know, use them in your headlines, in your copy, whatever. And if you don't know what Funnel Scripts is, if you go to dannywalsh.co.uk funnel scripts, you will see what I'm talking about. So in actionetics, we can import contacts, we can add them to lists and we can email them. Real simple. Right? Okay, where does the action bit come in? Because I think we've just looked at the ethics. Let's look at the actions. So we have action funnels and this is basically the autoresponder. It just sounds a whole lot cooler than autoresponder. It's an action funnel. And this works with your funnels. Right. So I talked about the client overload, right. And what I've done is I've kind of set up the sequence quite aggressively. So let's take just, let's take a look at the actual funnel itself. Okay. So we'll just go through to the funnels. We'll find it in the list of stuff. So this is client overload. Right. And like I said, this was a funnel that I had on my computer. I had it on clickfunnels for a long time. And it's something that I thought, well, I want to help people to get more clients. And it's not the easiest thing in the world. But what I realized is the script that I've actually wrote that I used to get clients was so powerful that people could actually abuse this script. So I had to be very careful on who actually gets it. So I made it intentionally difficult for people to get the script. And you might think, well, do you not just want to make sales? No, I'm not bothered about the sales. I'm bothered about spreading a conscious message and helping people to do well in their business that will produce sales. Yeah, this is a way of getting the right people qualified. And we talk a lot about more money being made in the back end than the front end. And a lot of people are just like, oh, I've got to sell a seven dollar product and that's it. My funnel is very, very long and strategic and the people who come through will be in for a while. So this is the funnel. This is what it looks like. It's running basically from some social media posts. So there's a bit, a mixture of hot, cold and warm traffic. 42 opt ins, 100 people. It's been live less than a week. I'm kind of happy with that for something that's just rolling. So the idea is they come to the funnel, let's click the page. It's a simple script I used to close. I pay in clients in 60 minutes or less, click to download, press that, they put the name, they put their email, that's where they start. Then to get into actionetics, so when they do that, if you come here to this automation tab, this only works for action etics mind, don't use this if you're using aweber and different things. But we are going to add them to a list. So you see that they get added to the client overload opt in list, right? So as soon as people come to the opt in page, they put the name and email, they are added to the opt in list in actionetics. Right? So up here, go back to actionetics, there's the lists. Let's go up to the lists. There's the opt in list. You see 5 today, 25 yesterday, 93 in total, 7 of unsubscribed and a partridge in a pear tree. That statistic there, email sent is wrong and sometimes there are little delays in the numbers catching up. I'm not overly bothered about that because I know I can see in the action funnel how many emails have been sent. But the opt in. Yeah, click name and email send the script, clickfunnels moves them to the next visible page in the funnel, the sales page, which I'll show you. But it then through this little automation here in, on the opt in page, automation adds them to the list, right? So here they are, they're in the list. So what I did is set up an action funnel that corresponds to that list, same name. And in this action funnel I've created a series of steps. All right? And you think what's all this stuff? I thought funnels were bad enough to build. And you'll notice it's pretty much the same format. You can add steps that happen at allotted times or at the point where a certain action is completed. Right? So the first step is what we call an action. And this action action is clickfunnels internal. It's an email notification to my email address. So that means every time somebody puts their name and email in this box and presses that, this automation adds them to the list. And then because this action funnel is associated with the list, it starts them on this sequence. And the first thing that happens is I get an email to say somebody has opted in. So look at the times down the left hand side, 0 and 0. These things will happen straight away, right? So they're going to opt in. Let me go back to my funnel. And then as soon as they've opted in, they're on the list, right? And they've received, I've been notified and they've received email one which goes out immediately. Thanks so much for signing up. I can't see, you know, can't wait to see how you get on with it. Before you use your script, you need to watch this video. And you can see I've linked the words video, right? So the video is actually on the next page in the funnel, which is this one sales page. So on this one, I tell them what it is that they're talking about and I make the offer, right? And now this is very intentional because I pitch this with a warning and this funnel will not even send the lead magnet for a full hour, which gives me enough time to go through this really long, detailed video. And some of the comments I've had back is, I need to take a headache pill after watching this video. It's too complicated for me, Danny. I need something simpler. Is there any way you can do a basic version of this? Danny? Danny, am I right for this training? Right. That was the intention. I'm getting people. It's great training. And some people have signed up. As you've seen, two people out of the hundred. It's not everybody's cup of tea. It's very advanced. And some people don't even have a product, right? But they have to watch this for one hour, thereabouts, 20, 30 minutes, right, before they even get the lead magnet. This is what I'm experimenting with, is delaying the time because often people go after the next shiny object, right? So when they come to my thing, oh, I'll get more clients right now. But no, you're not just going to do some magic trick and get some new clients. So I'm even making you wait so I can educate you on what it is that I'm going to send you. And action. Etics supports this. So the first email pushes them back to watch the video. I know people need to watch that video before I give them the script. So it pushes them back to this page. They watch this, right? By the time they get to the end of this video, the script is on its way to them. And you can see that here. At one hour, we email them the script. Here's what to do. Make sure you watch the video, pushes them back to the sales page, download the script, get the training and extras, and that pushes them then into the members area, whether they've paid or not. So they have to then create a login, an email login and password to access the members area. Think about this, right? First they had to opt in, then they had to wait an hour. Watch my video while they waited, right? Then they had to open their emails and read stuff and actually Follow the instructions, right? That's a big ask. I'm doing something here that, you know, some people wouldn't even have the, you know, they wouldn't bother to do. And people say, well, you're cutting off sales. You're not going to make many sales doing that. That's an opinion, right? Look at this funnel and how aggressive I've made it. So three hours later, I asked them, what did they think. Now people have replied to this email, right? And when they reply, they're telling me exactly what they thought. They've not had time to read it. It's too complicated. Maybe they need a bit more time. They need to take a headache tablet. Whatever it is, this email is crucial. And because it's going out so quickly, I'm making people have to dance to this tune. In a sense, if they're serious about their business and they opted into some of my thing, why would I not push them and why would I not educate them and why would I not make them stretch their sort of thinking and boundaries? That's what I do. So there's no point me emailing you back in a week and saying, did you see this thing? I don't want people on my list who are not taking action. So I'm pushing here, right? And I'm pushing hard. Three hours. What did you think? At 21 hours, it emails to say, these calls that are $197 each have nearly gone, right? And I put them on the spot. You've either forgot that you've downloaded the script or you've gone and closed a big bunch of clients, right? If you're wanting this thing, click here and book the call. Three hours later, it tells them that it's too late, right? I've almost filled my spots, right? And people are responding to this email saying, danny, can you fit me in? Is there anything I can do to get one of these spots? I'm busy. I didn't read the script. Please. Yes, of course I can fit you in. The funnel is clearly separating the wheat from the chaff here, isn't it? And it's getting me super hot boiling subscribers coming through the door who actually want to use my service. Most people at this point have not read the script, have been whirlwinded through this. This email sequence. They've possibly got annoyed. They could have unsubscribed. Like I show you earlier, the email is persistent. It will go out at these times, right? I'm leaving a couple of days after this. Too late email. Just nothing. Dead right? So oh, there's a. There's a moment now to reflect. Right. And then this is what I'm gonna do. And I've called this the boomerang funnel. Right, guys? So this was the first part of the boomerang stop. It kind of stopped in midair a minute and then it comes back. Right. So what I've actually done now, because I know at this point anyone was serious, has booked the call or email me and I know exactly who they are and what they're doing and when I'm going to speak to them. The rest of the people were overwhelmed or it was too difficult, too complicated. They weren't ready yet. At 72 hours, three days. I do this. Was the client overload script too advanced? A lot of people have messaged me to say they needed something basic to get started. I wrote this email before I knew that was going to happen. Well, I knew that that was going to happen and I wrote the email because I pre empted it. Does that make sense? I knew people were going to be overwhelmed and couldn't understand it and were not ready for it because that's how I pitched it to make sure that I didn't get a bunch of idiots signing up to it using these methods or, you know, maybe it will appear on JVZoo next month. I don't know. I wanted to really make sure that only the best people who didn't unsubscribe, who actually listened and took action. Right. Get to this point. And I know that it's advanced training. Right. It was $197. It's not cheap. Coming up to Christmas. There's method in that because now the boomerang comes back. Was client overload too advanced? A lot of people have messaged to say they need something basic, which they have. So I've created this video. Yeah. And this then takes them to a basic training which will appeal to everybody. Right. And it knocks a hundred dollars off what they perceive to be the price of the call. It's got the testimonials and all the rest of the stuff. Real people. But now the scarcity. Right. So they've seen that I can do really advanced stuff. They know that they're not quite ready for it yet. And the ones that were ready have signed up and they took the plunge and they've booked the call. The ones who didn't sign up asked and pleaded and begged and wanted me to do something simple. So I've created that and waited a little time using the auto follow up the action etics the action funnel. Then I said that I've created this video. So now they think, well, how did he know? Or he was responsive, or, oh, awesome, Danny, thank you so much. It's a genuine thing because I've genuinely bent over backwards to accommodate these people. Right. However, doing it this way means that it can just, like, work anytime, any place, any day. So after 90 hours, which is, you know, coming up to the day after you see 99 people accrued in this, it's not even started to go out yet, to be fair. So did you watch the trading video? It's going away soon. Now that 90, if they've clicked that link at 72, will correspond to the timer. Right. Where's it gone? There you go. It'll correspond to the timer. So they're thinking, well, it's almost going away, the scarcity. And then I put this thing, lots to see, including how I made almost $15,000 in three months using the third method available to you today. And it's like, what, he made that much money? Five grand a month using a third method? Well, what's the first and the second method need to do it? 94 hours. The basic training has been well received. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Going through. Going through 96 hours. I've kind of flipped it, and it's like I've made six grand in a week, which I have, and I can evidence all this, and it's in the video. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Watch it. Book the call. I'm going off on a little bit of a tangent here. I'm actually going to give you two free books as well. So what I've done is I've gone from $197, really complicated stuff, to listening and understanding the needs of the customer to offering them something at $97. That's basic enough. That's got a big bunch of training. And I'm going to give you.com secrets and intrapreneur by Simon Coulson and a bunch of other bonuses that kind of changes the playing field. And I'd love to report that everybody signed up to the $97, all took the call, and all become wonderful at the funnel building at 96 hours. Fair enough. And then, you know, a couple of days later, a few days later, I come back and say, there's a few spaces available. And then my intention after that is to move them to a different list, right? That is loaded, locked and loaded, and will go out, you know, no doubt about it. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. They will get all these Emails at these times unless they purchase. Right. So they will never see the basic training if they purchase the advanced. Right. And this is how we do that. So in Action Etics. Yeah. In the funnel, rather, when we get to the order form on the first funnel, client overload in the products. Right. You've got these products, 197 is a 97 order bump. Right. In the product itself, you'll notice you have email integration and this is where we add them to the client overload purchases list when they purchase. Now, you notice on an order form we don't use the automation because if somebody just puts an email in, they'll still receive the email address. We want this to be linked to the product. So the only time they get the email is when they buy. Money has to change hands here. Right. So that's adding them. Two, if we go back to my lists, the purchasers list. Right. And the purchasers list has also got an action funnel. Yeah. But there's only three steps in this one. First one is tell me somebody's purchased. Yay. The second step, emails them and tells them how to get the call and all of the stuff that they've booked and they paid for. Boom. And the third one is another action that removes them from the opt in list. So if they go into client overload, opt in and then buy immediately, they'll never see that scarcity, aggressive countdown sequence and they'll certainly never see the basic. Right. Can you see the power in that? Because I don't need to keep telling them, you know, and massaging their ego. Whatever I need to do to make them eventually come through and be a customer. As soon as they've bought the product, I just put them on a different list and Action Etics allows you to do that. And at the very minimum, like I say, this funnel was designed a long while ago and I needed to do the videos, I needed to set the action funnels up, I needed to write the emails. I did it in the afternoon or the morning, this over the weekend when I had a bit of time, put it live. I've got 100 people on my list who want new clients. Two of them have purchased. I've not spent any money on advertising at all. So there's $400 there, basically, plus two people who are coming on a Skype call. Plus these people are going through this other basic training which I've yet to see because as you saw, they were all queued up. If you move them, when they're complete, key actions and you then remember what I said earlier, you give them more relevant content, then you are serving your customers on a very personal level. But you only need to write it once and you can make assumptions. You know, I assumed that this training would be too complicated for people and they would start emailing me asking for something basic. So I structured the action funnel accordingly and then thought, well, if I make this into a boomerang funnel where it kind of, it throws it one time but it's going to come back and when it comes back, it's going to be sweeter and more appealing, then there's a good chance that I can make some sales there and call it what you want. Do you know what I mean? At the end of the day, marketers have been doing this stuff for years. We know which list needs which product and we make sure that the right people go on the right list. And if you think about my three principles that underpin everything, number one, technology must work because this is linked to your funnel. It's so easy to make these actions work and stay in one place. Right. Number two, you put the right offer in front of the right people by segmenting the list and building the action funnel so it moves people, depending on what actions they take, means that you're staying in front and you're not upsetting people. People are not unsubscribing. The content's relevant. The third principle, build a relationship. How better to build a relationship than by sending what the customer perceives to be a personal email to them and move them around using the actions look, you can remove from list, add to list. And there's some other cool stuff I'm going to show you in a minute that you can use to move these people around so that the content they receive stays relevant. And you can write action sequences that go on as long as you like or as short as you like. Don't be afraid of emailing people and don't be afraid of ramping up the scarcity quite quickly. You don't need to spend a week sending out, you know, get to know me emails. If the traffic is relatively warm and they've opted into something that they want, get more clients, they want it. You don't need to start telling them about that time when you fell off a wall when you were six and grazed your knee and your mum had to come with a band aid and rush you to hospital, but it was all better then. You just need to sell them the bloody thing. There are, you know, places for the fell off the wall when I was six type stories yeah. And you can use those at different stages within the customer journey in your business. I have got a similar list that's got a similar action funnel in here, and it's got the stories. It talks about when I've been ripped off and when I've been hard done by and when I had. When I was broke and when I had nothing and all of that stuff. It's all true stuff. But I'm not going to start sending you that if you say, I want to learn how to get more clients, because clearly your behaviors are focused on yourself. You don't give a damn about me. Actionetics will eventually start to introduce this stuff, but only when you've had value. Because when I introduce this stuff and people are like, oh, I didn't know Danny struggled so hard, or whatever it was that the thing is, I'm talking about, that just adds fuel to your fire then going forward. So think about your sequences. Think about where the funnels in, you know, sort of intersect and which funnel audiences can potentially overlap others. Right? So new features and I nearly made that clickfunnels noise. I'm refraining from making the noise. You know, I know there's a noise that gets made when there's new features. And it's funny. Russell appeared on the live stream and he's like, this is a confusionsoft killer. And everybody knows about infusionsoft and that it's very difficult. And a lot of people have moved to Actionetics and moved to ClickFunnels and saved a bunch of money and are seeing better results. You know, I'm biased. I'm a clickfunnels guy. I'm gonna say this, but at the end of the day, some of the things in infusionsoft, like tags, are quite instrumental in your marketing. And when I met. When I say tags, I mean that you can tag a contact with, like, if you think, like, hashtag. So like a hashtag on Twitter, if, you know, if you've got football and you click it, anything with that hashtag will be in one list. Yeah. Does that kind of help? So when people buy things or do things or complete actions in your funnel, not only can you assign them to a list, you can also give them a tag. Members. Yeah, tag them members. And I know there's quite an evolution going on within ClickFunnels, but it's all going to revolve around this automation, see? So you can add a new action, and with that, you've got the option to start building automated smart funnels and that's coming soon within the Automation tab. But for now, within Action Etics, there are a few ways that you can kind of tag people, right? So what I'm going to do is I'm going to urge you to do a little bit of homework. If you go into the ClickFunnels group or on Russell Brunson's timeline, or you, you know, look at, look on the funnel, Hackers UK group or wherever you are, right? Russell went live, it's the currently 14th of December. He went live on the 13th, so you'll find it. He did a live video that actually shows this in detail. And I want you to go and kind of find out for yourself, right? In actionetics you can have tags, right, that you assign to your contacts. So when you look at a contact, we'll click this one, for example. I'm sorry, I'll try and blank it out before I put the video. You'll see that tags will start to appear in the, in the customer thing and the customer details, right? So if you tag this guy, member or whatever, this stuff will appear and you can make the automation start to tag people or untag people accordingly and you can search through your customers by tag. Now tagging is great and it's, you know, it's very widely used and if you go and use some initiative and go and look at Russell's video and you look at these things, things, you will find just how powerful this is going to be, right? So bear that in mind that you can now tag in Action Etics like you can in infusionsoft, right? You can also do this. Now I've come to list and I'm creating a new list, right? And I'm gonna call it a smart list, right? I'm gonna call it buyers, right? And I'll put it in client overload or whatever. Now if you tick this new box, Smart lists and create list, it gives you this cool icon. Start building a smart list. So you add rules, right? Only include contacts who meet all of these requirements, right? Product bought, product equal to. And let's find. The relevant one who bought the training save. If you're a geek, yeah, this, you love this, right? So what this is doing now, it's searching everybody in Action Etics and it's going to make a list of people who bought that product. So there should be two, I'm hoping there's two. If two names don't appear in the, in this list now we've got a problem. So it will go through. It launches the workers which is a kind of a cool statement. It goes out there, it looks through all of your contacts, and it will create this smart list of people. Now, this list is dynamic, so the more people buy products, they get added to the list. So what you can do. And there you go. There's me, two wonderful customers, and I'll have to blank this out. But basically what you're able to do is pull together a list of people from your entire ClickFunnels Actionetics account, and you're able to then email them, put them together, list them together. And doing this is very, very powerful. So login to ClickFunnels Smart Funnels is enabled. Tagging is enabled. Go on in there. Go and have a look. Get yourself familiar with this stuff. Think about your action funnels in your sequences and how these relate to your funnels. And if you need me, give me a shout. Let me know. Speak to me, send me a message, email me. You know the drill. Happy to help. Not a problem at all. But the main thing for me is you guys go out there and you do this and you take Action Action Funnels and you take them to the next level. It's Danny Walsh. I'll see you on the next video. Thanks so much, guys. Bye. Bye.
