A short YouTube video by Danny Walsh offering a quick, practical tip for creators: make videos feel personal by addressing viewers individually (e.g., say “hey, it’s [your name]”) instead of using group-address phrases like “hey, guys,” because most viewers watch alone. The clip includes a short call-to-action (subscribe/like/share) and an upbeat outro.

Hey, it's Danny Walsh. And in this video, real quick, when you do a video, the chances are the first words to come from your mouth will be, hey, guys. And you've got to think about that, right? In your marketing, in your videos. And anything that you're doing, who is watching this video with you right now, chances are you're watching this on your own, right? So that means if I say, hey, guys, it's not making a personal connection, which you're thinking, well, who are these guys? There's only me here. So if you start your video with hey, it's Danny, or hey, it's whatever your name is, it gives you a little bit more of a personal connection with your viewer. Does it kind of make sense? Subscribe and like and share and do a big bunch of stuff. Whatever you do with this video, I'll see you on the next video. But remember, in your content, there might only, and there probably is only one person.
