Three speakers explore the tension between Christian belief in human insufficiency and entrepreneurial self-reliance. They discuss the lie that Christians have nothing good within them, why entrepreneurs struggle to depend on God instead of their own power, and how personal fuel runs finite.
Enough.
And it kind of just debunks that lie, essentially, that as Christians, I mean, we aren't enough. And like, we have nothing good within, inherently good within ourselves. Yeah. And like, we are in constant need of a supplier and a higher power to sustain us and all that. So it was cool, especially for me as someone who is, um, tends to try to rely on her own power and to definitely like is a little bit of a control freak. And like, you— I've got a lot of gas in the tank and I can go pretty far, but like that runs out. And so just a good reminder of like, I am in need of Savior and dependence and, um, just to give me all the things that I need for life and godliness.
I feel like that's just because like, that's a common theme among entrepreneurs that I've found. Um, and so I can, I can relate.
Yeah, absolutely. Ali Bethros, she's fire. I love her. And we actually got some other ones last year and it was really good.
