One person says a scheduled gym partner keeps them from skipping workouts. The other argues personal desire alone drives consistency, and suggests becoming the motivator for others instead of waiting for one.
Yeah, having somebody that is going to like meet you at the gym. Like, yeah, I know if somebody's meeting me at the gym, I'm not going to miss it. If there's nobody meeting me at the gym, it's really tempting to just go back to sleep. Yeah. So what are your thoughts in that area?
Oh, I've always been the person to bring people to the gym, so I— but I also a firm believer, like, if you want it, I don't think somebody has to be there. Like my motivation would be if that's you waiting on somebody, maybe try to be the person for somebody.
Yeah.
You know, like maybe you go find somebody that wants to go with you. So then you're the reason.
