Fire Your Editor After You Watch This Video...

What is up, you guys? Today I'm going to show you a tool that has saved me at least 40 hours per week in editing, especially if you're an entrepreneur and you don't have a full editing team. This is going to help you tremendously. Let's get right into it. The platform that I'm going to be showing you is called Opus Clips. Now you're going to want to type in Opus Clips in Google, and this is going to be what pops up. Once you have an account. And so it's simple. All you have to do is drop a link into this box. You can also upload a file directly if you have an MP4 file. But once you paste the link, this is one of my YouTube videos, it's going to pull it immediately. And so up here in the top right, you have your credits. That's how many minutes that you get to use this with. And this is going to be a quick video. I hope this helps you out, guys. So once it has the link, it's going to pull it up and you're going to have a few different options here. Genre, if you have a specific genre. So this is going to be more of a podcast style clip. The clip length, so you can choose multiple different ones. I like to choose 30 seconds to 60 seconds and also to 90 seconds. You can also do longer ones. If that's something that you're wanting to do and cut it up for YouTube, etc. Here you can add keywords to select if there's a certain word like content or coach or services. You can put that here in the keyword box and then it's going to pull directly from those keywords and prioritize whenever you say those certain things. And so the next option is your processing timeframe. This is how you save credits up here. This is the credits. Like I said earlier, this is going to tell you how many credits it's going to use. So right here, we're going to process about 6 minutes of the video. Therefore, it's going to use 6 credits. So if you don't want to use all your credits and do the whole thing, you can just narrow it down to the best part of the video. This is what we do for all of our clients. And this is one of our main ways to provide short form editing services is through this platform. And it has saved us like hundreds of hours up to this point. So next thing you can do, you can go to quick presets and check out a few preset ones that Opus has made. And they're pretty good. They're not bad. Like it adds captions. It cuts it up for you. You can take any video and cut it up into short form clips. And it looks like an editor did it, which it did, but it's just AI. So you can go to my templates. We've made a few different ones that we use. And so once you're ready to go, you have the template picked out, you have your time section picked out, the video's right. All you have to do is get clips in one click and hit that button. As soon as that happens, it's going to take, depending on how long the video is, probably anywhere from 7 to 20 minutes. And then it's going to pop up here in your projects. And this one I already did, so let's click into it. Exit out of there. And this is how many videos it created out of what I gave it. And I think this was like a 20-minute video, 30-minute video, and it ranks it. So this number here is the viral score. You can schedule directly to your platform that you want to post on. I don't really use that one, but it's there if you want it. You can download it or you can go into edit. So say you're like, like, he will provide and open the right doors for you to go through. I like this clip, so I'm going to go to edit. It opens up the editor and it's very simple. It's kind of similar to CapCut if you've ever used CapCut. Um, Honestly, if I didn't have my faith, I don't know that I would still be in business because there have been times where I wanted to quit so freaking bad. So say you want to move the captions, you can go over here to captions. You could do 3 lines per page. You can change it to the top, but for some part of the video, you can move it to the bottom, the middle, whatever you want to do. You can add animations. The Lord, every single You can change the color of the words. You can change it to uppercase, lowercase, all the things. Very handy there. Overlay. I added this Howdy Podcast YouTube overlay so people know like, hey, this is coming from the Howdy Podcast, which is my personal podcast. You can add AI emojis. You could add transitions. Um, since this one didn't have to really cut anything. Let's, let's actually do that real quick. We'll go to AI Enhance, remove filler words. They found one filler word. So that's one. It's going to be right here. Honestly. So faith over feelings. That's the first one. Um, and honestly, miss it. It usually never misses it. So we'll scoot it over here. That's the first one. Honestly. Boom. And then we'll add auto transitions and we'll see if that works here. The first one, honestly. But you can add transitions, you can go in here and edit directly. Like, if you want to change the word, if it misspells something, you can do that. You can take out any blank sections where there's no sound, no audio. So go back to here, remove pauses. There was 20 pauses here. So freaking bad. But for some reason, the Lord, every single day I would fight him. It just helps things go a lot smoother, a lot quicker. And then as soon as you're done editing it, You hit export and then you're ready to post online and onto Instagram, onto TikTok, onto Facebook Reels, etc., wherever you want to put it.
