After six months of daily posting with almost no progress, a creator questioned whether the effort was worth it alongside a full-time job. Their spouse pushed them to commit for a full year instead. The shift in timeline changed everything.
Like, have you ever had those times of like, man, maybe this isn't for me. Yeah, I need to do something else. And how did you overcome?
So like, after about 6 months of posting every day and nothing's really happening, you start to think, is this even worth it? Because I'm at this time I'm working a 9-to-5, and then from 5 to 9 I'm like figuring this stuff out and trying to record and recording multiple videos a day. And after month 6, I'm just sitting there like, I don't even know, like, I don't know if this is worth it. But I told myself give yourself a time. If you're going to give yourself 6 months, I feel like that's not enough time. Give yourself an entire year. And that's what I did. I was like, give it a year. And my wife was the same. She's like, you said you were going to give it a year, give it a year. And thank goodness I stayed with that.
The importance of the encourager.
Yeah. Yeah. So you have a support group with your spouse.
So sounds like she was super, super encouraging. Yeah.
