He would always tell me the same thing, and it was the rule of 3. And he said, the first time you go to that person to tell them to do something, you're gonna be real sweet, sugar it up, like, hey, can you please— I'm gonna have you go to drinks, and you're gonna do drinks for till 2 o'clock today. If they didn't do that, then the second time you go up to them, you're gonna be a little bit more stern, and you're just gonna tell them the same thing. And it's like, hey, I told you to go to drinks. I need you to be on drinks until 2. And then he would say the third time is the final time, and you would go to them and you'd be like, okay, well, let's go to the office and have a talk. And so like that simple little rule just helped me so much because, you know, I'm a people pleaser. It's easy for me to get trampled over. It's easy for me to let people take advantage of me. And so it's like that helped me outside of work, inside of work, with business when it came to dealing with people from window cleaning, getting new customers, stuff like that. It's just like simple rule of 3, like just helped me so much.
