If you're a christian entrepreneur, watch this video.

In this motivational video, a Christian entrepreneur shares his personal journey from starting a business in a college apartment in 2022 to operating from a downtown Abilene studio, emphasizing that true entrepreneurship for believers is rooted in faith rather than worldly hustle. He critiques secular business advice that stems from greed, arguing that Christian entrepreneurs must serve people and reflect the love of Jesus. He outlines three guiding principles—Faith (trusting God for results), Fruit (producing work that helps and serves others), and Flow (aligning every business decision with Scripture). He frames content creation on platforms like YouTube and Instagram as a form of ministry, urging creators to view their consistency as an altar and their videos as sermons. He warns against superficial displays of faith (e.g., merely adding Bible verses to a website) and encourages building a Christ‑centered personal brand that authentically serves. Practical advice includes handling financial pressures, client relationships, and setbacks through Scripture, and he invites viewers to join a free Facebook community, Howdy Media Insiders, for further support. The video concludes with a call to like, subscribe, and continue the mission of spreading the gospel through business and media.

Alright, if you're a Christian business owner, then I'm glad you're here. I want you to know, first of all, you're not alone. Me being a Christian entrepreneur, I can definitely feel alone at times. And then there's all these tactics and strategies and business coaches out there who were talking about how to run a business, and there's this whole hustle culture. And I wanted to talk about it as a Christian entrepreneur and Yes, you do have to hustle, but at the same time, if the Lord has put a calling on your life to do the thing, then he will equip you to do the thing. And so you're not alone. There is a lot of teaching out there that goes against what the Lord actually wants you to do, and it's fed a lot of times from greed. And obviously, if you know anything, if you've ever read the Bible, like We're not called to be greedy creatures. If you're greedy and the love of money is the root of all evil— not money, but the love of money— and so if you're doing all of this and you're not serving people, if you're not helping people with whatever it is that you're doing and that you've been called to do, then it comes from a place of greediness and you're only doing it for money. And that is probably the biggest difference between a Christian entrepreneur and worldly entrepreneur. And so the last 3.5 years, I have started this company from the ground up out of my college apartment in 2022. So it's been a little over 3.5 years at this point, and now we're at a studio downtown Abilene. And I am telling you, like, I don't have experience running a business or I didn't have any. I had no experience with the camera, no experience on social media other than like making a meme page that grew to like 5,000 followers in 2018, but that was it. And so he took the unqualified and qualified me because he put a calling on my life and my heart because I discovered that I love these things. And so it was a massive leap of faith to do it and actually buy like my first camera and like try to get my first clients. But once I did, there was something inside of me that told me to keep going. Like, no matter how hard it gets, no matter what you're going through, because there's going to be ups and downs just like anything, and especially in business. But there's something every time that the enemy comes and tries to tell me that, okay, you might need to go do something else now. That's just a reminder of me, or a reminder to me saying like, hey, you're actually doing a lot of good and helping a lot of people, and the enemy is trying to distract you and take you away from what it is that you're doing. And so one of my goals with these videos and with my YouTube channel, with the business, like everything, ultimately we're called to spread the love and joy of Jesus Christ. And that is what I want to do. And so this video is for you, and it's an encouragement to you to keep going like keep fighting the fight. And if you're sure that the Lord has put this on your, your life and your heart, and the way you know that is by consistently staying in the word every single day, then no matter what you do, it will be your ministry. And so that will shine through greater than anything else that you could possibly offer people through all the videos we make, through all the content we make, through all the teaching that we do on content creation, like, I hope people pick up hints of like subtle things that we do that show grace, that show love, that show mercy, because it's the least that I could do based off of what Jesus did for us 2,025 years ago. And I think it's important more than ever, especially around Easter time, to remember that. Remember why you're doing what you're doing. And so just because you throw a Bible verse on your website or a business card doesn't mean that you're actually showing the love of Jesus, because you can't just slap people in the face with scripture. They're not going to listen, they're not going to feel it, they're not going to hear you. And I feel like there's very few people talking about this stuff on the internet, which is why I'm making this video today. And so if you are a fellow content creator making videos, whether it's on Instagram, YouTube, Like, not only is it going to help your business and your personal life, but it's your ministry field. There are 5 billion people every single month on these platforms that you can reach and show the love and, and spread the message of the gospel to. Your content is your sermon. Your consistency is your altar. But if you're too afraid to show up and admit these things on camera, then you're hiding the light that God is trying to get through to so many people and use you as a tool to do. And so I want to leave you with these 3 things to remember and rely on that I have relied on through this entire journey. The first biggest thing that you need to rely on is your faith, because if you don't have your faith, then you have nothing to lean on when things go bad. Because it is definitely tempting whenever the bills are struggling to get paid, whenever those people are being a pain in the butt— not pain in their paying their invoices, you're having to pay out all these contractors, all these expenses, and you don't even know if you're gonna make it sometimes. Like, we've all been there. And so do you trust God with the results that you're going to get? Number 2 is the fruit. So the fruit is what is actually being produced out of your business, out of your content, whatever it is you're doing. Can you see it from afar and see it thriving? Like, are you helping people? Are you serving people? In what capacity do you help them? That's also like a principle that I use in my teaching for content is just be true to yourself and provide real value that people can feel and use because your services will sell themselves based on solving other people's problems. If you solve somebody else's problem that they've been searching for an answer, like it doesn't matter what you're doing, if you can successfully solve the problem in a manner that is loving, with joy, with kindness, all the fruits of the spirit, then your business will thrive. And the number 3 point is flow. So does everything from your, your business to your content to how you come up with your offers to how you deliver the services, how you give refunds, how you handle things that go bad in the business, how you handle things that go good. Um, all of this needs to flow straight from scripture. Is your business and your life lining up with the principles from the word of God? Are you truly helping people, or are you just chasing these trends? That's one of the biggest differences when business owners and entrepreneurs get into making content, is some of them like to chase trends, and it's good to grow an audience, But if you are truly wanting to make an impact, you're going to have to build a personal brand. And by building a personal brand, you get to love on more people, serve more people, get in front of more people. And again, it's your ministry. You get to reach them. And through good content, you build that trust and relationship to where people can receive this kind of stuff and they can see it and they notice that something is different about you in the way that you do things. So it attracts more and more people. It's like a magnet. And so my last word of encouragement, if you want to be successful with your content, successful in your life, that doesn't always mean monetary funds. It means fulfilling your calling and, and feeling that purpose with whatever it is that you're doing. If you can feel that, then you will be successful. And I truly believe that if you're watching this video, especially if you made it to the end so far, that you are called to make a difference. And you are called to make the type of content that truly serves and helps people. You are going to change so many lives. So I want to invite you, if you are an entrepreneur, we actually have a free Facebook group called the Howdy Media Insiders Group where we talk about this kind of stuff, share tips and tricks. Um, I like to share lots of videos just like this one inside the group. It's completely free to join, so that link is going to be in the description. I believe it's about 85% of you who watch my videos aren't subscribed, so please, that would be amazing. Um, and we'll see you guys in the next one. Peace.
