After four years and half a million dollars in revenue, the creator is moving on from his Sony A7 III due to aging color science that gives footage a greenish cast compared to his newer FX30s. He's eyeing the A7 IV, hoping for a price drop when the A7 V launches.

Hey y'all, welcome to today's video. Today I am in my Prius. That's right, I drive a Prius. Unfortunately, I love to save money on gas. But today's video, I want to talk about selling my A7 III. Now I've been using the Sony A7 III for almost 4 years now, and whenever it came out in 2018, um, I bought it whenever it was about 3 years old. And so I've been using the Sony A7 III for the last 4 years, and that thing has absolutely changed the game and created a business out of thin air and allowed me to pay for itself probably a thousand times. And the quality is great. There's a few downfalls, but with the rumors of a new Sony camera, especially the Sony A7V It has me, has me thinking I might just get rid of my Sony A7 III because, and I might not even buy this Sony A7 V. So hear me out, the Sony A7 IV is a powerhouse. So I currently run a Sony A7 III and two Sony FX30s for my video production and media company, and it's been plenty, and, and it's been like all I need. At times, after using the FX30 and the new technology, the new color science that Sony has come out with, it's had me thinking I might need to upgrade the Sony A7III at some point because the colors on that thing are a little bit green and a little bit gross compared to the Sony FX30. And so this is— this is— might be the time. This might be the time I might have to take the leap and go ahead and upgrade this to the Sony A7 IV because it's going to be hopefully discounted just a little bit as soon as the A7 V comes out. Um, I just wanted to let you guys in on this experience, on this journey of I might be getting rid of it. And it makes me sad because that thing has made me almost half a million dollars up to this point. Point, which is crazy to think, but it's the truth. And so yeah, are you guys interested in the new Sony cameras? Um, what do you shoot on currently? I want to know. My phone's getting heavy here, I'm just filming here in my car. But what are you guys shooting on and how is it working for you? Have you ever shot on a Sony A7 III? Let me know in the comments below what your preferred camera body and lens is. And, uh, yeah, stay tuned. I'll let you guys know if, if the camera releases and comes, comes out really soon, then I might be selling it, and I might even sell it to one of you guys for the cheap. So stay tuned, and we'll see you guys in the next video. Peace.
