In this instructional video, the creator advises new content creators on how to choose the right social media platform(s) to start with, emphasizing beginning on the platform they are most familiar with to build confidence in front‑of‑camera skills, editing, and idea generation. He outlines the typical age demographics and audience types for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and differentiates between B2B (business‑to‑business) and B2C (business‑to‑consumer) strategies, recommending LinkedIn for B2B and TikTok/Instagram/Facebook for B2C. The presenter assigns a practical homework: research high‑performing topics on the chosen platform, study viral videos (e.g., real‑estate niche), and recreate similar content to gain traction. He advises beginners to focus on one or two platforms before expanding, while experienced creators can operate across multiple platforms. The video concludes with a promotion for the upcoming "Brand Builders Community," a paid membership offering coaching, masterminds, live Zoom calls, and Q&A sessions, with a limited free‑lifetime‑access offer for the first 50 waitlist sign‑ups. A call‑to‑action invites viewers to comment, subscribe, and join the community waitlist.

All right, so if you're just starting making content, a lot of people ask the question, which platform do I focus on? Should I focus on one of them? Should I focus on all of them? And here's my recommendation to you: start on the one that you know the best. This is going to be the platform where you just get comfortable creating content in the first place. Once you get comfortable in front of a camera with your editing softwares and creating ideas, then that's whenever I would say you can start branching out to other platforms. So start the one that you know. You may look into YouTube, you may look into LinkedIn if you are a B2B service, which means business to business. If you're a B2C, which is business to consumer, you may want to look at more TikTok, Facebook, and maybe even Instagram. But yeah, those are the platforms, and, and I'm going to break down just kind of the age ranges of what these platforms are and who's on them. So you got TikTok over here, you got the young guy, you got the, the people people who are anywhere from 12 years old, maybe even younger, to 23, 24 years old. Then you got the teenager who is Instagram. You have all the trends that come from TikTok eventually make their way up to Instagram about 7 days later. Then after that, you have the older middle-aged man, which is Facebook. And then you have the, the grandfather, which is YouTube. LinkedIn is more around the Facebook area, Facebook and Instagram. It's some of the people who are in business who are high up, they have managerial positions, um, and they're decision makers is what they call them. But if you have a, a B2B business, I would heavily suggest going in and posting on LinkedIn. But I think the biggest, um, thing to remember in all of this is it's not necessarily going to completely change the outcome based on the platform that you post on. It matters how much of your target audience is on that platform and how well are you creating this quality content? Because a great video will go a lot further than just posting a random video on the right platform. So I'm gonna give you some homework. After watching this video, go and find some topics that are already working on the platform that you're looking at. Go to Instagram, go to YouTube, search up topics about, if you're a realtor, go to topics about real estate or type in real estate on YouTube and see what the first videos pop up. And then just try to recreate some of those videos that are getting lots of views. I'm talking like a million plus views. Same thing goes for Instagram. Type in real estate, see what's going viral, and make those types of videos on that platform. The ultimate goal is to obviously be on every single platform, um, but that's going to be in the distant future. For now, if you're just starting, again, if you have experience already and you know how the social thing works, do all the platforms because the more places you're in, the better, the more people you're reaching. If you're just starting again, pick two, try to learn the whole content thing and then branch out. So hopefully this helped you guys out. I wanted to let you know also we have a new community that we are releasing hopefully in this fall. But what we're doing, it's called the Brand Builders Community, and we're going to have coaches that are influencers, content creators, business owners, all of the above who are going to be coaching as well as like just a community for you to be held accountable. To communicate with other like-minded individuals who are CEOs, founders, creatives, influencers, all the things. And there's gonna be courses, masterminds, live Zoom calls, Q&As, all the things to prepare you and get you ready to continue your content journey and build your personal brand online. And so if that's you, if you're wanting to leverage social media like you know it can be leveraged, then there's gonna be a link in the description to enter and join the waitlist. First 50 people get free lifetime access who join the waitlist. After that, if you miss out, you gotta pay month to month. So make sure to do that. Hopefully this video helped.
