A business owner discovered ACU's internship program by chance and started hiring students to help with daily tasks. Over two semesters, interns have managed social media, brought fresh ideas, and kept the owner energized about the work.
ACU has an internship program through the College of Business. Yeah. And dude, they're stepping that up. Yes, I'm seeing it. So cool. And I just happened to be getting my nails done one day with the head of the department and recognized her from a previous event that we did and just got to talking. And she was like, have you ever considered like offering an internship? And I was like, boy, do I need that? Like, I need people anyhow. Yeah. And so, well, college, that's what I was about to say is that it's been so refreshing because these girls are like chomping at the bit to get experience. They have so many creative ideas and want to help and run social media and do all— so it's been so neat to be able to like utilize that and really just grow with them. And it helps fan my passion because, you know, you get— you have days where you're just like, I'm not as excited about this, or, you know, and they're like just a reminder that, yeah, this is awesome and exciting.
