I've been using hybrids for the last 2 years before I got these guys, but whenever I decided to go all in on this podcast studio thing, I was researching and one of the things that I decided was a non-negotiable was the overheating issues. So for an example, we film a lot of weddings, especially here in Texas, in the summer, outside, wherever it's 115 degrees, and some of the Alpha cameras, they overheat. Now, the A7 III, I haven't necessarily ran into this issue, but whenever it comes to podcasting, you sit down for 3 hours at a time sometimes, and, and some of these episodes go really long, and we're going to need cameras that don't overheat. And so one of the things that this camera offers, it has an internal fan, and you can record technically up to 13 hours at a time before it stops.
