Were you ever delusional when working on a new idea?

Levi posted content every day for eight months with almost no income, calling it "delusional optimism." He celebrated tiny wins like $10 days to stay motivated. A year in, his revenue jumped from $200 a month to $45,000.
So I was like, all right, let's just keep doing this, keep posting every day. And then it just— by the end of the year, I had a $45,000 month when in the beginning of the year I had like a $200 month.
Levi, kind of walk us through like the highs and lows of that challenge that you gave yourself. Like if you said it took off the 9th month, like that was 8 solid months of you just posting every single day and not necessarily seeing a return or kind of, I don't know, talk through that.
That's exactly. So there's a level of delusion to it. But I had seen it work on Instagram, so I just kind of was like, this will work, I know it will. And I had always been a little delusional with everything that I've done. Like, I think I can get really strong, and I would just keep going to the gym, keep going to the gym, take a progress pic and kind of see yourself. But I knew it worked on Instagram, so I was like, I know this can work. And so you kind of got to be a little delusional. Like when you started your business, you got to kind of, well, let's just do it. And I was more of like, I'm not afraid of the risk, I'm I'm like looking forward to the reward. I was very optimistic about it. So yeah, I just knew that posting every day would work. And even the little wins, I just— and also I celebrated everything. Even if I made $10 that month, I was like, yes! Like, I made zero last month. Yeah, the next month I made $20. And you start looking at it and like, then I started making $10 days. I was like, oh, this is really cool. And so it's just, you got to— but you got to be a little delusional. You really do.
You got to believe. And disciplined. I mean, that takes a ton of work
