When life gets overwhelming, Speaker A turns to their church community for prayer and support. They describe feeling spiritual solidarity when others pray for them and recommend that anyone without a church family explore congregations in Abilene.
Absolutely.
I think that is important.
Yeah, well, I think, you know, that's one of the biggest things that's helped me is in times where I've struggled, um, gone through hard things, being able to call upon my pastor or somebody within the body to pray for me, um, to be there for me, to give me advice when I couldn't see because all the things surrounding me were distracting me or consuming me. Because life is hard, let's be honest. There are difficult things that happen, um, things that are, you know, completely out of our control. And it's— it is so wonderful to be a part of a community of believers that when they say they're praying for you, you absolutely know without a shadow of a doubt that they are going to battle for you. Um, there have been times where I've gone through difficult things and I've asked for prayer, and I can literally feel that the body is fighting with me in that. And so I agree with you 100%. If you, uh, don't have a church family, there are some wonderful churches in Abilene, um, and just, just go, just, just check it out, see what God has in store for you.
Absolutely. Um, I know this is a complete shift of topic, but we got to talk about it because I'm Gen Z.
