This is a YouTube video titled "HOW LinkedIn Ad Targeting Works" containing a discussion about LinkedIn advertising strategies, focusing on targeting options and content approaches for ads. The excerpt features multiple speakers discussing granular targeting and ad content effectiveness, but does not include Dave Gerhardt as a participant.
What's possible from a targeting standpoint.
I mean, you can go as narrow as typing in the exact company that you want to target and target down to the titles, the departments, the interests. You can get really, really granular all through LinkedIn.
That is amazing. And just, just to like slim down all the tool, like to just have one place to focus. Okay, this is great. I can show ads to this one account that I want to sell to. What do I do? Do I show them a blog post? Do I make them download some content? Do I just say, call me now? What works?
You almost want all of it, right? Because depending on where they are in their stage, if it's just like an account that you don't are interested or not, you want to have some education. So that could be through a blog post and you're just kind of giving that information through the actual post. And so they don't even have to go to the page. Thought leader ads looks organic, but it's still promoted by the company.
You said those are performing well. Like just a plain text post that you write.
And when I say good, maybe it gets like 100 likes, maybe gets 50 likes, doesn't matter.
