A single speaker breaks down B2B brand strategy, arguing that a clear point of view matters more than most companies think. The talk covers understanding your customer, positioning yourself in the market, and using content to tell and execute your brand story.
I just think the biggest thing you can do from a brand strategy standpoint is to nail your point of view. I think that comes from having a deep understanding of the customer, a deep understanding of the market, being able to articulate where things are going and why people need this solution right now. What are the big trends in the world? How do you solve those problems? That's what this comes down to. The point of view. You could call it the strategic narrative. You could call it the positioning. The differentiator is in there also. That's going to be like the 80, 20 of how do you build your brand? And then content is how you execute on it, the megaphone piece of that. So you can't just have the story. You need to be able to articulate that. And that's what the content is.
