This is a YouTube video titled "How to drive webinar registrants WITHOUT dropping a link - what to do instead" containing a monologue or talk from February 6, 2024, discussing strategies for promoting webinars by providing standalone value rather than relying solely on direct links to increase registration organically.
I write a post that's like zero click content, how are they going to register for the webinar? I feel like when people question it, they take this all or nothing approach where they're like, how am I going to get people to join my webinar if I never drop a link? Where I'm like, I'm not saying never drop a link. I'm saying give standalone value so that they don't have to click. I see way too many marketers promote webinars by saying, what are you going to do about your content strategy? Find out in our webinar. Anyone could write that. Do this one thing to make sure you have a really solid content strategy. By the way, we're also going to give you four more pieces of advice in our webinar. So join it. Give actual value in the promotion for it. You can find ways to embed that webinar link into your blog posts. I sent a bunch of extra emails, right? It was just, I just did this extra thing totally organically, just embedded it in the blog post and it just very naturally drove the extra registrants extra flop.
