This is a YouTube video titled "How to make your events memorable" containing a discussion between multiple speakers about creating meaningful and intentional content for events to foster engagement and memorable experiences. The speakers focus on tactical approaches to event content and audience interaction. There is no indication that Dave Gerhardt is one of the speakers.
I want meaningful discussions to happen around the content.
What people like about this podcast and some of the Exit 5 stuff is a very tactical stuff. Like, what if we had speakers? But the speaker was like, I'm going to give you one lesson. It's not going to be a whole thing. It's going to be like, I'm going to tell you how I did this one specific thing. That could be cool.
I think what made that event successful is, again, like, just being intentional, being very intentional. Like, that organizer knew. Okay. What I really want my audience to walk away with is having had meaningful conversations about the content, that the content just doesn't get presented and then disappear. I want meaningful discussions to happen around the content and then you can get as creative as possible. Like, you can do whatever to make that happen. But just knowing what your intentions are is so key because that is the basis of which you engineer, like, everything and make all the decisions around your events.
