When I was at Drift, David, who's the CEO and kind of my, my boss and mentor, one of the books he gave me early on was Managing Oneself by Peter Drucker. In this book he basically talks about like before anybody else can manage you or before you can manage a team or build a company, you have to be able to manage yourself. Now he's talking about like at work understanding how, how you are and how there's different types of people and we operate in different ways. And so for me this was an interesting lesson which is like I was at Drift and I tried to become the SaaS growth guy. Now I'm at this company, everyone's talking about this stuff and I'm trying to fit in with everybody else. And he kind of pulled me aside. He's like, hey man, you're a really good writer and a good marketer. Like, just be that and you'll be really good.
