Two overlooked event tactics: run low-budget quarterly mini roadshows in cities where you already have customers, and partner with others to share the work of filling your own events. Trade shows bring audiences for free, but hosted events need help to draw people.
I think a lot of people don't think about the actual programming and the offer. I love this idea of like coming up with these mini roadshows. We did a roadshow, we did like once a quarter and it was very like low budget. We just picked a couple cities where we had a high base of customers.
Yeah, using partners is a huge. And that was something I basically, especially at Aircraft for Every event, tried to find a partner. Because when you're doing your own hosted event, like the benefit of a trade show is that the audience is there. So, like, you don't have to worry about like finding the people. You just need to worry about your presence and how you're going to like get them to engage with you. When you're doing your own event, the experience is going to be cool, but like, you need to get people there. And yeah, working with partners is an amazing way to just share that responsibility and expand the reach of the event.
