So let me ask you, where are you living in the drama triangle? At the Conscious Leadership Group, we teach that whenever you're below the line, you're in the drama triangle. Now, what we also say is that 90% of people spend about 95% of the time in the triangle. And so do most of us spend time there, even though we've been practicing for years. Here's me at the airport, the Nashville airport, just a couple of weeks ago. I find out that my flight to Chicago has been canceled. I find out that there's not another flight leaving for five and a half hours. Here we go. Oh, shit. This really sucks. I'm exhausted. I've been on the road for a week. I can't do anything to get out of here. I can't get home. I. Oh, God. I should have thought about this. There was an earlier flight. I should have planned it better. I could have gotten out of my work sooner and gotten here. Ah, crap. Woe is me. I am never flying American Airlines again. They suck. Their on time arrival to and from Nashville is not any good. I knew this was going to happen. It's happened to me before. They just simply cannot get there. Act together. And by the way, the client. I told the client that if I could leave the engagement 30 minutes earlier, it would give me a real chance to get home. Damn it. I think I'll go have a vodka and a cheeseburger and fries. I'm gonna feel so much better if I can just numb out. That's how I live in the triangle. How about you?
