Our minds tend to overcomplicate almost everything. So, like, simplicity on the other side of complexity is almost always— there's just some feeling that's not being felt, right? And once it's felt, the issue is easily resolved. So, if you're spinning and taking a long time individually, or as, like you said, with your team, um, I've been fond recently of saying an emotion is worth a thousand words. I love that. Spin off that phrase. And then the coach I really respect, Tara from Art of Accomplishment, has this quote that unfelt feelings are the glue that keep unwanted patterns in place.

No, sure, I, um, I feel like I'm a nice guy, or I'm a nice guy, or— but like a big one, you know, I have so many founders who— and I think there's a human— at a deep level feel like an imposter, or I'm not good enough, right? And they're like, you know, like, oh, could you let go of that belief? And they're like, well, I can't. Like, I can't, you know. It's interesting. Like, why can't you let go of that belief? You know, can you see that you're good enough? Can you? And often when they start to recognize, well, I'm scared to let it go because it's been driving me— okay, that's a useful insight. But until they actually feel the fear, it doesn't go, right?
Say it one more time. Unfelt feelings. I'm gonna write it down.
Unfelt feelings are the glue that keep unwanted patterns in place.
Mm-hmm. I love it. So
