I'd spent so much of the last 10 years trying to let go of my attachment to money, but it took actually losing all this money and then viscerally feeling like I'm okay. In 2022, I lost like 70% of my net worth. So you can imagine I was in a state of threat, right? Like super self-critical, scared. I thought I was at this place that was certain sort of lifestyle and comfort, and then all of a sudden I wasn't. And it took me weeks, I think, of just being like in this deep state of threat and fear. But at some point I really started to use my tools and I said, "Okay, how is this here for me, right? How is this happening for me, not to me?" And it took that to finally let go of my attachment to money. So I realized if you're willing, you could literally see everything is happening for you and as an experience for growth and learning.
