Dave Kashen explains integrity as an energetic issue: when you take responsibility, honor agreements, feel your feelings, and reveal your truths, you unblock the energy that holds you back from your potential.
You can unblock your potential with integrity. So most people think of integrity as this moral issue, like you're a bad person if you're out of integrity, you're a good person if you have integrity. I think it's more useful to think of it as an energetic issue, like your life force energy flows through this pipe, and to the extent to which that pipe has integrity, that will determine how alive and energized you feel. And there's 4 key pillars to integrity: taking responsibility, Honoring your agreements, feeling your feelings, and revealing your truths. And so if you pay attention to what feelings am I blocking and not fully allowing, right? Feelings come through this pipe. If you're blocking one feeling, you're blocking all of them. So what feeling am I not allowing myself to feel? And allow yourself to feel it. What am I blaming people for and not taking responsibility for? What agreements have I made that I haven't kept, or maybe that I've made and I don't want to keep and I need to clean up and create a new agreement? And then finally, what am I withholding? What truths, what thoughts and feelings have I had that I haven't revealed? If you get clear about all those and clean up your integrity, you'll feel more alive, more energized, and unleash your potential.
