Here's how you can exponentially increase your self-awareness so you can become a way more effective leader. Most leaders know that data is so important these days, and they're missing a whole source of data that's one of the most powerful and insightful we have, and that's emotions. So let me give you an example. Sadness is the energy of letting go. It's an invitation to look at what wants to be let go of, right? Anger is boundary energy. As a leader, you need to look at What boundary do I need to set? What do I need to stand for? What do I need to stop? Fear is the energy of attention. Fear says pay attention, right? There's something that wants to become known. There's something that wants to be paid attention to. Joy is the energy of celebration. Most leaders do too little celebrating. If you want more joy in your team, celebrate more. And finally, excitement is the energy of creation. When you feel excitement, there's something that wants to get created. And as you tune into these different emotions, you'll be a way more intelligent, effective leader.
