Dave Kashen argues that fear itself isn't the problem for founders. The real issue is resisting fear instead of accepting it as a natural response. He discusses this in his Inner Game of Entrepreneurship community.
And we talk about fear, like in this podcast as dirty fuel, but like, as an example, fear can be such a, you know, again, I like, I would think of these things as God-given or universe-given, whatever you prefer, because they are needed to keep us alive actually.
Yes. And safe. Yeah. I love that you just said that. I heard myself yesterday in our, um, Inner Game of Entrepreneurship community that I'm running. I said to the group, I basically like, I want to apologize because I've been saying for a long time that like fear is dirty fuel. And like, I want to be really clear because it gives the impression that fear is bad and we should resist it and avoid it. Right. That the issue is actually not fear. The issue is resistance to fear. Because if you really look, the, um, what had us has, you know, in our heads thinking about issues and trying to figure it all out, or what has us, you know, motivating ourselves to achieve, you know, but from this like toxic place is not actually fear. It's not wanting to feel the fear.
