I love Jesse, your point that the way you put it, you know, where you're coming from, where your heart is matters more than the language. So even speaking unarguably, I could say the story I make up is you're an asshole and you don't care about me. It's obvious that I'm attached to being right about that story, even though mechanically I'm naming that it's a story. So it's the attachment to being right in that example. That's the essence rather than the mechanics of the language. And, you know, I suspect we'll dig more into conscious leadership and Above and Below the Line. But the really simple version is you're either in a state of presence or in a state of threat. And when we're in a state of threat, we just tend to want to be right and get defensive and get reactive. And so that is the essence of at least the conscious leadership work and, you know, the work that I spend a lot of my attention on with clients.
