Dave Kashen says entrepreneurs waste energy on fear of failure instead of focusing on what they can do right now. Stay present like you're in a basketball fourth quarter: fundraise, grow revenue, execute. Fear doesn't change the outcome.

You're gonna be in fear if you're just imagining running out of money, having to tell everyone you failed. So the more you can just stay present, like imagine you're in a basketball game, fourth quarter, 3 minutes left, down by 8. If you're worried about losing the game, you're not gonna be able to show up with your full aliveness, energy, clarity. So if you can just stay present in the game and just deal with whatever you have to deal with in that moment, you're so much more effective than if you were just constantly worried about failing, even if You're gonna run out of money in 30 days. Better to be here now doing everything you can to raise more money, grow revenue, rather than just constantly worry about running out of money.
