There are 4 zones that people tend to operate in: performance zone, survival zone, burnout zone, and renewal zone. This is like positive versus negative, and this is like high energy versus low energy. So we start our day positive, high energy in the performance zone. And then what most people do is they try to just keep that going, keep that going, grind, grind, grind, and they end up in survival zone, barely getting anything done. Right. You know, if they stay there too long, boom, they're burnt out. So if we try to just hustle and push ourselves, we end up burnt out and our body will force us to take a break. What the best people, the best athletes, the best entrepreneurs, the best leaders do is they oscillate between performance zone and renewal zone all day long. So if you have rituals and routines that allow you to renew, to stay in positivity, but go into places that don't take a lot of your energy or renew your energy, you will way outperform everybody else. Moral of the story: rest more.
